The CRM Manager is a fundamental role within War Child UK, leading War Child’s development and
utilisation of our CRM system, Salesforce. We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce manager who
understands the power of great business analysis and stakeholder management, with a preference
for listening to and understanding stakeholders, identifying their needs, translating the features of
Salesforce and ultimately utilising Salesforce to meet these. The CRM Manager should be a passionate
advocate for Salesforce and the power of client relationship management systems to help
organisations like War Child achieve their goals and provide better service to our donors, supporters
and participants.

War Child’s CRM Manager oversees our Salesforce system development, maintenance and utilisation.
War Child uses Salesforce to manage our relationships with our donors, supporters and stakeholders,
as well as, manage data about the programmes we deliver.
The CRM Manager works across all UK teams to ensure Salesforce is fit for purpose and enables day
to day donor relationship management, data management, analytics and reporting. With Fundraising being the largest user group within the War Child UK team, this role is predominantly business partnering the Fundraising and Marketing teams but not exclusively. Alongside ensuring that our instance of Salesforce meets the requirements of our business, the CRM Manager maintains the strategic responsibility for our CRM product roadmap. They have the responsibility for positioning Salesforce as a key tool in maximising business opportunities and offering solutions to business issues.
This requires the CRM Manager to oversee the full development lifecycle from business analysis,
development, test and release management, working closely with our external implementation
partners.
We have also recently implemented Salesforce Marketing Cloud, so this role will be influential in
helping to embed this within Fundraising and Marketing.
Working with all UK teams, this role is fundamental in enabling the smooth running of the organisation as well as being a thought leader in process improvement and efficiency. The CRM Manager acts as the lead champion for Salesforce internally, setting initiatives to drive adoption and compliant use, as well as, act as our external representative into the Salesforce community.
